Description
The annual Kivett Lecture is presented by the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in honor of Kansas City architect Clarence Kivett and his wife Margaret. The event is free and open to the public.
Speakers
Chief curator of architecture and design at The Museum of Modern Art, Terence Riley has written widely on many aspects of contemporary architecture. Most recently, Riley co-curated Mies in Berlin, an in-depth look at the early career of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from the time of his arrival in Berlin in 1905 until his departure for the United States in 1938.
