Glenn Murcutt graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1961 with a degree in architecture. He established his one-person practice in 1970 and has since built an exemplary practice that is well known for its environmentally sensitive designs with a distinctive Australian character. He has been a visiting professor at many schools of architecture, most recently at Yale and Washington universities. His work is internationally acclaimed and he is a highly sought-after teacher, critic and lecturer around the world.
