Description
The American Institute of Architects, Kansas City Chapter will host a free lecture by Australian architect Glenn Murcutt on Wednesday, April 17th at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Avenue Temple, 9th and Grand, Kansas City, Mo. A reception and refreshments, sponsored by the AIA-Kansas City Committee on the Environment (C.O.T.E.), will begin at 5:30 at the Temple. This lecture, which is free to the public, is part of Murcutt’s weeklong residency at KU, and is offered in cooperation with AIA - Kansas City.
Speakers
Murcutt is internationally recognized for his independent style, strong convictions, and high-quality, sustainable design. His focus since establishing his practice in 1969 has been architecture that is directly linked to place and the natural landscape.
