KCDC affiliated faculty

The KCDC Affiliated Faculty Program engages partner university faculty members who have interest and expertise in research and projects specific to the KCDC mission. The purpose of the program is to enhance the KCDC’s mission, outreach, comprehensive teaching and research capacity, and to expand the KCDC's faculty engagement base. Affiliated Faculty are eligible for KCDC funding to support their research and projects.

In conjunction with this program, the KCDC produced the Research Capacity Enhancement Framework document which functions as an institutional memory of KCDC’s knowledge of critical issues, dissemination of knowledge, and sustained stewardship of community engagement and empowerment.
